How to register for an additional blog

If you write for more than one blog, it's easy to register each of them using a single account.

1. Register your first blog according to the directions on this page
2. Log in and click on "Request Additional Blog" at the lower-right of the screen.
3. Indicate whether you'd like to register your blog for the first time or add your name to a blog that is already registered for us. (If your blog has multiple authors and one of the other authors has already registered, choose this second option and follow these instructions. Otherwise, you're registering for the first time.)
4. Fill in the form as indicated.
   
   

   Important: Make sure your Blog URL and RSS URL are correct -- the site won't work without this information. An RSS feed is a way for readers (or automated systems like our site) to learn about your blog without visiting your site. We need your RSS URL so our system can learn when your blog has been updated. You can find it by looking for the feed icon on your blog: .If your blog doesn't have a feed icon, then try these addresses:

   • Blogger/Blogspot:
     http://yourblogname.blogspot.com/rss.xml
   • Wordpress.com
     http://yourblogname.wordpress.com/feed/

   If this doesn't work, you can register for bloglines.com, click on "feeds" and "add," and put your blog's url into the dialog box. Your RSS URLs will be listed.

   
   
5. An administrator will visit your blog to confirm that it meets our standards. You will be sent an email when your account is approved, usually within 24 hours.
6. You're now ready for your posts to be collected on ResearchBlogging.org. For instructions on adding a post, visit this page.
